This site is brought to you by the tutors at the UKonline Centre at The Deepings Community Centre.

We have recieved funding from UKonline to take part in the Talk About Local project. The project aims to promote local community websites, these can be for local clubs and organisations, to provide an online voice for a single issue, to promote a local event or to provide a community newletter such as this. The websites are free and we provide you with the assistance and training to set up your own websites using free software. If your club or organisation has its own website we would like to encourage you to take part in the project by providing us with posts to this site so that people in the Deepings become aware of all that is happening in the area and to riase local concerns, such as speeding, parking and fly tipping.

To launch the Talk About Local Project we are holding an information session om Wednesday 6th October in the It Suite at The Deepings Community Centre at 7pm.

Deeping Rangers U14 Triumph

BRADGATE U14’S  v DEEPING RANGERS U14’S

Match Played at Ansty Nomads FC Ground , Leicestershire.  5th Oct 2010

On a perfect October evening for football Deeping Rangers U14’s football team travelled to Ansty in Leicestershire to play Bradgate U 14’s in the 1st Round of the Lions National Knockout Tournament and after a very close and exciting game came home with a 2-0 victory with early second half goals scored by Jake Brown and Jamie Sharpe. The first half had been a close and open game with Deeping having more of the possession and shots on goal but the Bradgate goalkeeper was in excellent form saving shots on at least 5 occasions, the second half had only been underway 2 minutes when Jake Brown was put through on goal with a great pass and scored easily in the corner of the net. The second goal just 3 minutes later was a fabulous shot from outside of the penalty area by Luke Parsons that gave the Bradgate goalie no chance of saving. Despite some pressure by Bradgate to get a goal back Deeping continued to play the better football and only a great block by the Bradgate defender stopped Deeping from adding a 3rd goal after some wonderful passing between the team.

Final Score : Bradgate 0  Deeping Rangers 2
